KAI — a name born from the fusion of K2 and AI — is a conversational agent purpose-built for solar mounting expertise. We designed a layered architecture with three tiers of depth: surface-level product guidance, detailed technical resolution, and deep retrieval from K2's full collective knowledge base.
We integrated a structured feedback loop that allows K2's team to continuously refine responses based on installer interactions, making KAI progressively smarter without requiring retraining from scratch. The agent was fed structured information sourced from K2's product documentation, engineering data, and support history.
